You may have heard about the FDA’s recent ban on flavored vape pods but the information available is a bit confusing so we thought we would simplify it for our customers. On January 2nd, 2020, the FDA announced a nationwide ban on the sale of flavored pods vapes and pod refills with the exception of tobacco and menthol flavors. Many vaping companies like JUUL have already ceased the sale of flavored pods but this ban is official and it will take effect on February 1st, 2020.
Flavored Vape Pods and Vape Shops in Dallas and Grapevine, TX
At Smokers Heaven smoke and vape shop, we understand that this is frustrating to our customers that enjoy pod vaping but we truly have no choice other than to cease the sale of all flavored pods and disposable vapes once the ban takes effect. We currently have plenty of pods in stock but we will unfortunately not be ordering any more as this makes little to no sense for our business. Keep in mind that the FDA’s ban DOES NOT include flavored vape liquids for open tank vaporizers or mods (as of yet) which means that vapers that can still get flavored e-liquids but not in pod form after January 31st, 2020. We can only recommend that you use your voice and vote for better legislation as this ban will likely do nothing that it is designed to do other than create an unsafe market for vapers that want pod style flavored vaping products. We will closely monitor the FDA and relay that information to our customers but we would urge our customers to stock up as there will be no sales and no exceptions once the flavored pod ban has taken effect. If you have questions about the ban or would stock up before the ban takes effect feel free to stop by Smokers Heaven smoke and vape shop on Hall-Johnson Road just west of 121 Highway in Grapevine, TX.
